Although the beach is smaller, it provides the perfect space for swimming or just lounging under the sun. The beach is calm and ideal for snorkeling in the shallow waters. If you plan to visit during the summer, visit early or late in the day to avoid the crowds. The sunset views are also epic, making it a magical experience that feels unlike any other.

Cala s’Almunia

Park Natural de Mondrago is a fantastic place that covers over 700 hectares of natural spaces. It’s a truly wild and beautiful area, perfect for those looking to experience Mallorca’s natural beauty. The park has several beaches and coves, offering peaceful, relaxing spots. It’s easily accessible by car, with convenient street parking, or you can get there by boat for a more spectacular experience. The color of the water in this area is incredible, and the surroundings make it a must-see destination for nature lovers and beachgoers alike. Whether hiking or enjoying the scenery, this park is a great escape.

Cala Figuera

Cala Figuera is the perfect spot if you’re looking for adventures and love hiking. This rocky beach in Formentor offers some of Mallorca’s wildest and most beautiful beaches. It’s 20-30 minutes away by car, with a small parking lot on the street. If you want a more scenic experience, you can add it to your itinerary while visiting Formentor. Cala Figuera is located across the street from the start of the Cala Murta trail, making it easy to explore both locations in one day. However, you must hike down to the beach, so bring some good walking shoes, as the trail can be pretty steep.

I have to share a confession: My boyfriend and I once camped out at this beach (though it was a bit risky, and it’s illegal to camp in Spain unless you’re at a designated campsite). Campsites are often highly overpriced, but Cala Figuera offers a secluded escape with great views. This hidden spot is perfect for anyone looking for adventure in Mallorca, whether hiking or just soaking in the stunning views.

Cala Romantica

If you want to explore more, Cala Romantica is also known as S’Estany d’en Mas, one of Mallorca’s favorite beaches. You can walk along the path on the left side of the beach, which will lead you to the mouth of the bay. The walkway continues along the coast for further exploration. We found a boat dock halfway up the trail, a great place to relax and listen to the waves. It’s also less crowded here, making it a great spot to enjoy the surroundings. If you plan to park, look for signs, especially if you choose to park on the street—you wouldn’t want to risk getting a ticket at the end of your beach day.

Playa del Muro

Playa del Muro is a long sandy beach in Alcudia, perfect for a relaxing day by the sea. Stretching almost 6 km, it offers ample space for everyone. This beach is especially great for kids and families because of its shallow waters, which are safe for swimming and playing. The clear waters make it even more inviting, and it’s one of the best places to enjoy a peaceful day by the beach. I love it for watching sunrises; there’s something truly magical about the early morning view.

It can get a bit busy, so I recommend arriving early in the morning to enjoy the insane views and peace before the crowds arrive. While swimming isn’t ideal here, the scenery makes it worth the visit.

Natural cliffsides shelter this Caribbean-like cove, and it is only about 50m (164ft) wide, making it feel cozy and intimate. The steep staircase leading down to the beach adds to the adventure, but be prepared for a bit of a climb. Cala Pi is a low-key spot, and although it can feel crowded during peak times, it’s still perfect for snorkeling in the still water. There are no facilities at the beach level, just some boathouses, so bring your provisions. If you’re into paddle boarding or just want to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, Cala Pi Beach, with its soft sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, is the place to be. You might even see boats pass through, adding a charming touch to the picturesque scene you’ll remember forever.

Cala Agulla

Cala Agulla is a beautiful beach near Cala Ratjada on the northeast coast of Mallorca. This long sandy beach is surrounded by dunes, pine forests, and flat rocks, making it a perfect spot for swimming and sunbathing. The landscape is stunning, and I was particularly impressed by the color of the water. The beach is known as one of the cleanest and highest-quality beaches on the island, and it has even earned the prestigious Blue Flag award for being eco-friendly and sustainable. For those who prefer comfort, there’s an option for renting loungers and umbrellas. If you plan to visit during the busy season, come early, as paid parking spots fill by 11:30 am. Alternatively, you can park in the town and enjoy a 10-minute walk through the pine forest to the beach.
