While staying with friends in San Agustin, I first travelled to Jocotopec, where I changed buses before getting dropped off in Ajijic later.

During my five nights in Ajijic, I had the pleasure of staying at The Victoria Hotel. I was beyond happy with my choice, especially with the room on the top floor, which offered beautiful views from three sides. The spa on the grounds adds to the peaceful atmosphere, making it an excellent place to unwind. The people working here are kind and helpful, ensuring you have a comfortable stay.

That is perfect if you’re looking for an affordable hotel with a great location in Ajijic, Casita, Montana. Situated on the opposite side of the main road from the town centre, it’s just a short and easy walk to the water and other key spots. The hotel offers a cosy terrace with a decent view, making it a perfect relaxing place. You can enjoy the tranquil garden; the best part is that breakfast is included in your stay. Plus, with free private parking, you won’t have to worry about finding a spot.

Prices here are a bit higher than what you’ll find at the San Juan de Dios market in Guadalajara, but it’s still worth it.
